1) Development of Ang Mo Kio New Town began in 1973 and was the seventh New Town to be built in Singapore.

2)They wrongly assumed that the new version of the name refers to the bridges at the seventh milestone of Thomson Road

3)They created Ang Mo Kio as to redevelopmentplan to rejuvenate the town centre of Ang Mo Kio , to make it hip and vibrant. Jubilee is located at the other side of the town centre.
